Entry 1 (Introduction)

I am Briana Bielmeier, and currently a Therapeutic Recreation major with a Child Life emphasis and Nutrition minor at University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. I grew up in the small town of Luck, Wisconsin, which is three hours north of La Crosse.  I am very close with my parents and younger brother. I enjoy snowmobiling, ice-fishing, nature walking, hunting, working out, and watching a good movie.  At the moment, I am a bartender and beverage cart girl at the Amery Golf Club, babysitter for 3 children under age 11, and summer home cleaner in Cumberland, Wisconsin.  I would have a very hard time living without popcorn. My goal in life is to make at least one person smile each day.

Throughout this class, I hope to expand my knowledge on innovative activities and therapeutic recreation, so I can relate them to a future job.
